Accident waiting to happen!

This is a picture I took today to forward to my boss and the city / county engineers. It is a picture of a crosswalk in front of our building where pedestrians are almost hit by cars on a daily basis. These stripes are new...but they were darkened within hours of being restriped. Hopefully the city or county will invest in some better way to mark this crossing considering all of the daily pedestrian traffic. I saw crosswalks in San Luis Obispo with cool blinking lights in the pavement. I am suggesting that our city choose the same: http://www.crosswalks.com/html/smartcrosswalk.html
