I met Fred Thompson back in 1999 when he was speaking in California. I was impressed with how down to earth he was at that time, yet an excellent speaker with a natural charismatic leadership quality about him. I think that Fred is the most "Reagan-esque" of the current GOP field of candidates in the upcoming election cycle. Check out: Fred '08
